Water softening is removal of calcium ions, magnesium ions other metal cations in hard water by replacing it with sodium ions donated by cation exchange resins like 225NA. With the contaminants, the water becomes hard and unfit for drinking and various other applications like washing and cleaning. In addition to this, the hard water causes the built up of scale in pipes, resulting in decreased flow rate.
The most common method to remove hardness from water is resin based water softener.
When all the available Na + ions have been replaced with calcium or magnesium ions, the resin is regenerated by using solution of sodium chloride.
Our water treatment plant is installed to completely remove dissolved solids other contaminants make it suitable for drinking & other applications.
