The first filter has a specific combination of media like Gravels, Pebbles, Filtration Sand to ensure proper filtration. The next filter has Activated Carbon media of higher Iodine Value which absorb colour odour of filtered water. The Carbon bed also ensures further polishing of BOD.
Water treatment removes contaminants and undesirable components, total suspended solids concentration so that the water becomes fit for its desired end-use.
